THESE BEDHEADS RESIDE IN AN OLD WATCH TOWER IN TUSCANY AND THEREFORE WERE DESIGNED AND PAINTED IN AN ITALIAN THEME AND COLOUR.



THIS LARGE ROOM SCREEN WAS DESIGNED FOR CLIENTS WHO WERE LEAVING AMSTERDAM. IT CONTAINS FIGURES ON ICE SKATES TAKEN FROM AN OLD DUTCH PAINTING, REMINISCENT OF WONDERFUL WINTER DAYS WHILE SKATING ON AMSTERDAM CANALS. ITS HORIZON LINE IN THE BACKGROUND BEGINS ON THE RIGHT WITH THE VIEW FROM THEIR HOUSE IN AMSTERDAM, CONTINUING IN A STRAIGHT LINE THROUGH DUTCH LANDSCAPES TO END ON THE LEFT WITH AN IMAGE OF THEIR FINAL DESTINATION.





THIS TWO-SIDED ROOM SCREEN WAS DESIGNED FOR AN ARTIST INTERESTED IN WALL PAINTINGS FROM POMPEII. BOTH SIDES CARRY A THEME OF EARTH AND AIR. THE RED SIDE REPRESENTS EARTH, WITH WINDOWS TO AIR WHILE THE LIGHTER SIDE REPRESENTS AIR LOOKING THROUGH TO EARTH WHILE BOTH SIDES EMULATE THE TEXTURES OF AN OLD POMPEIAN WALL.




THESE WERE ORIGINALLY SIX SEPARATE PANELS CREATED FOR THE AMSTERDAM ANTIQUE FAIR, LATER JOINED TOGETHER TO MAKE ONE ROOM SCREEN.(SEE EXHIBITIONS)



THIS CUPBOARD INCORPORATES FAVOURITE ELEMENTS FROM THE CLIENT.



THE PAINTED ENTRY DOOR LEADS INTO THIS SITTING ROOM WHERE THE SMALL “CARPE DIEM” TABLE’S MESSAGE IS ALSO PAINTED WITH A BUTTERFLY WHICH TRADITIONALLY REPRESENTS THE RESURRECTED SOUL.
